Ok guys lets build a motor with me! Mines coming apart as youve probably seen. So lets build one together!

This will be an occasional cruise around motor but built for 1/4 mile. Already has a built awd auto trans from IPT and ran e85 with 2150cc injectors. Tcase is braced and driveshaft is a DSS. We can handle some power.

Motor had manley rods and wiseco pistons previously and pulled hard. But lets do this together and have some fun.

What are your goals?

As stated above occasional cruises and 1/4 mile... been running on hx35 but will upgrade that someday too...

For now the power I was putting down was fun but will eventually go more. No limits!

Drag car = Aluminum Rods Obviously however some quality steel rods can be used indefinitely with stupid power levels. So again the End Game is all that matters LOL
Id like to make this fun and see if this was a fellow dsmers car what they would like to do or see done.

Wont make decisions on parts until the machine shop has more to say

I vote for Pauter X beam rods and Ross pistons fully coated with heavy duty aftermarket wrist pins, L19 head studs, custom age rod bolts, total seal piston rings, composite head gasket with an O-ringed head.

my latest iteration is K1/Wiseco1400HD (10.5:1 2.4L, 2g head), I had aluminum rods before, but I was always paranoid about the maintenance on them in a street car.

If you're planning on being under 1000 AWHP I'd put a 2g head on the shopping list unless you have something pretty special already.
