Probably will be hard to sell for any more then $1000, just because you can pretty much build your own for that!

^ Correct. They obviously have to pay to get it to Canada from Japan, and then you pay shipping to get it to you once you buy it. Subtract shipping and the transmission's value and you have the engine at a shade under $1000 WITH the turbo, injectors, manifolds, and a pile of other parts of value that would normally not be included in a private party sale.

Not to mention that seller has only moved ONE of those engines four months ago, so they're obviously not flying off the shelves. If you're pricing it for a quick sale, prepare to take a hit.

the motor my buddy is selling comes with no fuel injectors,no ecu,no a/c either

32k is about 31.5 k away from saying rebuilt, $500 is all I'd pay.

Thats kind of sad but pretty much right on. Even if I did buy something like that I always take it apart and inspect everything anyways. Almost all the same work as just building my own so the value might not be there for me. Alot will depend on your buyer. Try putting $700 on it and you can wiggle down from there.

I paid $300 for a running, "rebuilt" 6bolt long. That included everything minus turbo and exhaust manifold. Don't expect much. Used is used. I sold a running low milage 7bolt with turbo for 5 bones. And they guy was hesitant to pay that much.
