Ok I have seen a lot in the years i have been working on DSM's but this is a new one. Last nite I was driving a friends car I built (96 Tsi AWD 6-bolt swap Built engine, Shepperd Trans with 4 spider center diff, 3065 at 20 psi) I launched the car for the first time ever with a 2100 act clutch and it shredded the tripod bearings in the rear axle on the drivers side. Then the axle popped out ripping the boot and then ending up under the rear diff breaking the diff mounts.
Now has anyone seen this before! I was under the impression that 2g rear axles are strong? Ohh and I only launched it at 5000rpm
