I was looking into adding some Brian Crower 272 cams but wanted to know which one would be best if stage 2 or stage 3? Since its stated that stage 2 is nice for street manners and stage 3 is for more rpm and horsepower gains. Wanted to know if the stage 2 would also provide horsepower gains as well

There arent separate stages of BC 272s. What you're referring to is stage 2 or 3, each with a different duration

Stage 2 BC0101 (ok on OEM springs if they're in good/new condition)
Adv Dur
268°/272°
Dur @ .050
208°/212°
Valve Lift (1.7:1)
.401"/.381"
Valve Lift (mm)
10.18/09.66

Stage 3 BC0104 (requires upgrades springs)
Adv Dur
276°/276°
Dur @ .050
220°/220°
Valve Lift (1.7:1)
.436"/.436"
Valve Lift (mm)
11.07/11.07

Each will shift your powerband to the right, the BC0101s less so. That's why the 0101s are said to be better for street, you don't loose a lot of bottom end.
How far is up to you and depends on the rest of your mods, which you don't list or have a profile.

Okay thank you very much 🙏🏽

@keltalon did a cam comparison, his thread is on here somewhere
Stage 3 will provide more HP gains up top but it's all relative to your current output/how much air you're currently able to move.
For instance, 16g vs 6266.
