My gst is starting to studder when I'm braking and coming to a stop the front brake pads were replaced in hope of stopping the problem but after a day it came back any ideas? Maybe the rotors?

I try to brake very early and lightly to prevent it but it'll studder and shake the brake pedal and steering wheel from time to time when trying to brake normally like any other person would. I assume it's probably the rotors but I'm not 100% sure

new rotors are almost the same cost as getting some turned. Just get a set of new front rotors since the rears dont wear as fast and have the drum assembly inside too. Might be a good idea to bleed the brakes at each caliper to be sure you dont have an air pocket in there

Also check the ball joints. Any loose suspension parts can cause vibrations under braking.
This sounds like a rotor or pad buildup issue but it's best not to overlook other potential causes.

The 2G front end is complex compared to the 1G and lots of bushing and links to wear out.
I had a problem much like this on my 1G that was caused by the rear lower control arms being rusted out inside the rear bushing that would cause the front end to vibrate under braking.

New rotors. New brake and caliper hardware. Brake parts grease or antiseize. Brakes and rotors will last longer and stay in better condition

Front rotors are $25 each. You would have to be nuts to replace the pads without putting new rotors on at the same time. You also should make sure all slider pins move freely and are lubed with disk brake lube, and remove all rust from behind the SS clips where the pads rest in the caliper brackets.

O'Reillys turns car rotors for $10 each. But if you want new rotors DON"T get ones made in China (make sure you ask)! They use inferior metal that warps under heat (personal experience under just normal city driving) and you will have the same problem again in less than a year.

I strongly suggest you DO NOT get the rotors turned. I worked at a shop for many years and our biggest return on brakes was warped rotors after they were turned. The more you turn your rotors the harder it is for the rotors to dissipate heat because they keep getting thinner. I would get new rotors IMO.
