I don’t know if it’s even really visible in the photos I attached but recently whenever I put down the hand brake the light seems to stay on but I can see it not be as bright as it was when the hand brake was on. I checked the brake fluid and it seemed fine. Anyone know why this is? Would greatly appreciate the help as this is my first car 🙏🏽‼️ (2G Eclipse GS-T)

The brake light wire or switch could be shorted to ground if you've confirmed proper fluid level and proper function of the reservoir float/switch.
