BOV on an automatic?!?

BOV on an automatic, will it make the "psshhh" sound when it changes gears or when i rev the engine, etc...ya get what im asking jus dont knoe how to word it.

Well, the nature of automatic's no-lift-to-shift, you probably won't get the BOV working very often. Because the BOV is going to activate when the throttle plate is closed and you get compressor surge. So, a good example of when this will happen is when you are at WOT and then let go of the throttle so the throttle plate closes (just a quick note, it doesn't actually close all the way. It stays open a little bit to let the car idle.)

If you have 1g then you wont need a new bov unless you want the looks/sound or plan on making that a track car.

no, i would get one unless u have the 1g the 2g stock is shit it leaks, w/ a BOV on a auto its still nesscrry and it worth it
