I got a greddy B.O.V. and i got a custom upper intercooler piping and when i blow off the noise comes from the intake not the actual blow off valve. What could cause this?

i loosened it almost all the way and the it still does it.there is a second nipple on the B.O.V. what is that suppose to hook up to?

yea i have the vacuum line hooked up. but there are two nipples of the back of it.

After looking at pictures of the real Type RS, I only see one nipple coming off the back. Where are you seeing 2? Are you sure you have a real Greddy Type RS? I saw some on eBay that looked like one, but it had 2 nipples.

Also, on the real Type RS, it seems the nipple is just screwed in. So, if you have a real one, the bottom one (I can kind of see where it might go in (on the back below the top half) might screw out.

All greddy type s's are purple unless they were painted.. If you have two nipples you have a type is. Connect the one at the top to a vacuum source, and if you want you can connect the bottom one to a pressure source coming off of an intercooler pipe.

Yea sorry about the miss print in my profile but its a type s and its purple. ill get some pics up today.

ha... i just remembered.. my buddy has an RS on his mazdaspeed... when it vents it sounds like a duck call... serious... is there any adjustment to fix that or is that how its supposed to sound..ha!
