BOV Leak/HP Gain?

I recently took my stock 97 GST Down the street with the dump tube disconnected and around 4k rpms, when the higher boost starts, the bov just starts dumping everything, constantly... so replacing the stock bov should help keep boost pressure up, and steady increasing hp right?

Hell yea a new bov will help. Stock 2g bov is a joke. did you plug up the intake??? the bov won't add horsepower it just makes you capable to run higher boost without problems.

it would bost 8psi then jsut keep clowing off...i think the wastegate took a crap...but it was under warranty nad the oil lines were cloged....bunch of shaft play too
