Bought a new car; Built and Boosted

well i'm a college student, so i don't have a crap ton of money build a car from scratch. so i bought one that's already has a crap ton put into it. bought it from a member of the avenger enthusiasts club.

so here's the info.

1995 Dodge Avenger ES

Engine:

Star manifold w/ T3/T04E and Hahn FMIC.
Greddy Type-RS BOV
JE Pistons 8.8:1 CR
Eagle rods
Ported and polished head with pt lifters and rockers
60mm throttle body
8 injector set up with 034eic - stock primaries and 60# secondaries
Coolingmist water injection
3" turbo back mandrel bent exhaust
Spec Stage 4 clutch
5 speed swap w/ short shifter
symborski shift kit
solid front and rear motor mounts
TONS of parts/accessories powder coated (Valve cover, Oil pan, coolant lines, etc)

Exterior:

TC2 front/TC1 body kit
custom Viper style fiber glass hood
custom paint w/ painted racing stripes
18inch wheels (Racingharts)
225/40/18 tires

Suspension:

Eibach Pro Kit springs
KYB AGX struts
Stealth front brake upgrade
rear disk swap
slotted/drilled rotors all around
neuspeed front strut bar
rear lower tie bar

Electronics:

Autometer phantom boost, egt, oil pressure, water temp gauges
PLX DM-5 wideband and 52mm gauge
greddy profec spec 2 boost controller
push button start
battery relocated to trunk

Other:

Eclipse console swap


things i'm going to do:

it has no dump tube because it has a Vband in the way. that will be changed.
the trunk is stripped, i'm gonna put in a fake floor and carpet.
little bit of wiring to do, the egt goes wacky if the radio is turned up.
possible go with meth/water instead of just water.
possibly 2 amps and some subs, but naybe not. added weight would suck, plus i don't like rap
leather front seats will be swapped
looking into a carbon fiber headliner

Either way I wont take up more space about your car on this topic. Keep learning and make a mistake or two, you never know where it will lead you...

You are correct sir. Neat fact for you, you can bolt a 420A head on a Srt4 bottom end (thus having the turbo in the front).

People I understand the difference in the motors. Just sayin it reminds me of the SRT due tot he VC. I understand the manifold sits opposite.

it's a turbo 420a . same engine that's in a 2g N/T.

Yeah, the Dodge Avenger is like the bastard cousin of the DSM family. If you got the 4-banger, it was the same 420a from the N/T DSMs. I believe the 420a from the Neons are a little different.

That would be awesome. I've seen an Avenger, on YouTube I think, that was running a V8 and converted to RWD. 4G63T and AWD sounds cooler though.

the 4g63T awd conversion has been done a few times. pretty much the same as doing a gs/rs to GSX swap, except the drive shaft has to be lengthened about 4 inches if i remember correctly.

anyway the car is running rich. gotta dive into some tuning sometime soon. haha.

there is a guy down by me that has an 4g63 swapped awd avenger but its so hacked that he cant drive it 5 miles without it breaking serious POS

there was an asec member doing the swap. last i checked he was having alot of trans problems and was trying to get rid of the car.
