Bought a new car; Built and Boosted

well i'm a college student, so i don't have a crap ton of money build a car from scratch. so i bought one that's already has a crap ton put into it. bought it from a member of the avenger enthusiasts club.

so here's the info.

1995 Dodge Avenger ES

Engine:

Star manifold w/ T3/T04E and Hahn FMIC.
Greddy Type-RS BOV
JE Pistons 8.8:1 CR
Eagle rods
Ported and polished head with pt lifters and rockers
60mm throttle body
8 injector set up with 034eic - stock primaries and 60# secondaries
Coolingmist water injection
3" turbo back mandrel bent exhaust
Spec Stage 4 clutch
5 speed swap w/ short shifter
symborski shift kit
solid front and rear motor mounts
TONS of parts/accessories powder coated (Valve cover, Oil pan, coolant lines, etc)

Exterior:

TC2 front/TC1 body kit
custom Viper style fiber glass hood
custom paint w/ painted racing stripes
18inch wheels (Racingharts)
225/40/18 tires

Suspension:

Eibach Pro Kit springs
KYB AGX struts
Stealth front brake upgrade
rear disk swap
slotted/drilled rotors all around

Electronics:

Autometer phantom boost, egt, oil pressure, water temp gauges
PLX DM-5 wideband and 52mm gauge

battery relocated to trunk

Eclipse console swap


things i'm going to do:

it has no dump tube because it has a Vband in the way. that will be changed.
the trunk is stripped, i'm gonna put in a fake floor and carpet.
little bit of wiring to do, the egt goes wacky if the radio is turned up.
possible go with meth/water instead of just water.
possibly 2 amps and some subs, but naybe not. added weight would suck, plus i don't like rap
leather front seats will be swapped
looking into a carbon fiber headliner

wow that is the nicest avenger i have ever seen

how many miles.... and has it ever been dyno'd

the car has 118,000 on body. engine has about 2,000. turbo has about 500 (miles).

it was dyno'd at 15 PSI. 330 HP and 360 TQ. ran a 12.9 1/4 mile.

then with a little tuning made 380 HP with a heat soaked IC @ 22PSI

since then the intercooler has been upgraded, the exhaust was switched from 2.5 to 3", and water injection has been added.
15 psi is min boost and 25psi is max.

oh yeah and it doesn't have an LSD. i'll be buying a quafie in the not to distant future.

i already popped off a power steering belt. anyone know how to stop that from happening? i've been told it's common in the higher HP 420a's.

even better .... u might want to get some strong axles though cause the more traction u have the easier it is to snap axles..... i went through 3 pairs on my stage wtf srt-4 before i broke down and purchased a decent pair

it's a turbo 420a . same engine that's in a 2g N/T.

i think the srt4 motor was what developed out of 420a at least there are a bunch of similarities

quite possibly. the 1g neon DOHC was pretty much a 420a. makes sense they used that engine to build the srt4. orignally it was called the Neon SRT-4. but they dropped the neon.

If it were an SRT4 motor the turbo would not be visible in that pic. They have a backwards head.

My friend I hate to say it but there is no root word "topsy". Autopsy is Aut/o- self or own , -opsy- being to view. Meaning, to view self or own kind basically speaking. -tomy- incision, cutting into. -ectomy- excision, removal, recision. cis/o- to cut. However as you said its your bands name so Rock out with your c**k out! Like I said this medical terminology is kicking my tail and I am actually doing my homework right now so this is my way of studying and making sure the dsm community is as smart as me ;-) Good luck on your car!!
