Boosting, but no power behind it?

Well, heres the deal, I just had my motor rebuilt.. somehow the idiots didnt measure the bearings and they didnt fit correctly, causing my crank to walk. They then machined it, unbent it, and hardened it. I took the car home, and installed my new MBC. When I launch the car tells me its spooling to 20psi, but I feel absolutely nothing in the cab, infact, old integras are beating me? its kind of sad. Anywho, is this a boost leak? Could it be a bad turbo? ( but if that was the case, it wouldnt spool right? ) -- AFC is leaned out and tuned for the most part, could it be fuel settings? Would fuel settings cause it to boost high but go no where? -- If I need to explain anymore info, just lemme know, thanks!

to avoid ignorant replies, there are already roughly around 1400 miles on the motor, so before stepping up and making a lame comment about the rebuild, try to know what youre talking about? -- Even then, theres also the "hard break in", but I did ride it easy. -- Back to my original question though

it could absolutely be boost leaks. The best thing to do is to build a boost leak tester like described on vfaq.com and to perform a test. Now it could also be things depending on where your boost gauge is tapped but i would say it is definitly boost leaks....

good luck

yeh my next step is to build a leak tester, im heading to home depot after work today.

Try getting a timing gun and setting base timing t 5 degree's... could help ya, and don't forget to ground out that one resisitor... there is a vfaq on that too I believe.
