2G Boosting but not getting power

I drive a 1995 Talon TSI AWD. It has a 6bolt motor with the 14b turbo with stock components. I am boosting according to the stock boost guage, yet it seems like the ECU is cutting back fuel when I hit full boost and I am not getting power. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Well your stock boost guage isn't really dependable. Could be your running rich and the ecu is pulling timing. Also check your ign timing.

First and most importantly buy a boost gauge, the factory gauge is not an actual pressure reading gauge.

Like hero said, it sounds like a timing prob. Check your cam angle sensor position for base timing..

check your IC pipes for leaks that would open up on boost.
