2G 420a injectors not firing, but getting power...

So my injectors are not firing even though they are receiving the 12 volts. I pulled them out and tested them (connected the 2 pins to the positive and negative terminals on a battery) and they worked perfectly! but they are not firing in the car. As I said they are all receiving the 12 volts they need on the positive terminal, so could there be a problem with the second wire that connects to them or is this an ecu problem?

ECU (aka PCM) fires them (by putting a short ground pulse on other wire) based on the signal from CAS. So it's either CAS, ECU, or wiring (wiring would be last on my list but at least check connectors).

I have inspected the CAS and am getting all the correct voltages and resistances from it. Also double checked my wiring and it all seemed good. Could the CAS give off good signal voltages but still be bad? or is it more than likely my PCM?

Unplug CAS connector and with key on measure voltages on harness side of connector.
Yellow to ground: 8.5-9.5v
Blue-red to ground: 4.8-5.2v
Black-green to ground: Continuity (close to 0 ohms)

If have all that I'd then reconnect the plug, and measure voltage on the blue-red while cranking. There's no spec on it and it's a pulse but there should be something (probably in range of 0.4-4.0v like in the turbo engine).

If have all that, suspect ECU. Open it up and look for internal damage, leaking capacitors, etc.

The inside of my ECU is full of something.. I cant actually see any of the components. (its whatever covers everyone elses ECU)
