no power to fuel pump, injectors not firing

ok so my friend took his 95 N/t to firestone to check the alignment. he said he never heard his car start up, they said it started and backed out and died. i believe him. now his fuel pump is not getting power nor the injectors since i can jump the wires in the relay and get pressure to the line and it still does not fire, tries to start if i spray a lil carb clean in it, also pointing to the injectors, have replaced both the FP and ASD relay and still nothing

any ideas? besides blow it up
 
Start small, check the spark plugs. Then move up. Mine died while driving due to my cam angle sensor going out and it wasnt holding Fuel pressure. Could be that or the pump or wiring.
 
so the fuel pump is getting power? right at the pump connector? check the ground at the connector as well, listen to see if the pump is turning on, might just be a bad pump, have you checked f/p?
 
do you people not read? it had power to the connector only when i jump the relay, which was new as well as the pump. the pump does not turn on by itself with the key

I'm having the same issue. I can jump the fuel pump check connector in the engine bay and hear the fuel pump kick on, but when turn the key I don't hear the fuel pump.... I check for power at the pump and no power....
 
Been here done that. Not sure about 2gs but 1gs will not prime the fuel pump at koeo unless it was wired to do this from the owner. In a stock set up the fuel pump is powered by the ecu, the ecu turns on the pump when it sees a crank signal. my advice would be to you to make a checklist and go down it.

check fuses
check spark
check for continuity (make sure you have power from point A to point B and ground from point A to point B)
no spark? check for bad coil pack or bad CAS
For the fuel end of things check your filter to make sure its not pluggd. An overly restrictive fuel filter over time can strain a pump and cause it to fail.
run a jumper wire from bater positive to fuel pump connector at fuel tank to prime system and then try starting the car.
also make sure pressure for pump is within spec.
check fuel pressure regulator vaccum port to make sure it is not wet with fuel if the vaccum port is wet with fuel then that shows the regulator has a ruptured diaphram and needs to be replaced.

I know what you said sounds more like an ignition issue but its always best to cover all your bases, start cheap before you empty out your wallet on the expensive parts.
 
its a 2g n/t. its not my car im going off what im told but he says he can normally hear the pump when he turns the key without starting it. not getting power to trip the relay but have the constant to the relay. can jump it and the pump turns on and pressurizes the rail, from but once its to the rail the injectors arent firing either. has new pump, filter as of the day this started and every sensor was replaced when he swapped motors last year

at this point hes thinkin he needs a new computer
 
maybe a slight chance the caps went bad in the ecu but i haven't heard of thaty on the 420a. check the wires that run from the ecu to the relay for the switch side of the relay.
does the car have an aftermarket alarm system that may be killing power? or possibly an aftermarket stereo that could have shorted out on the ecu ?
