First off this only happens when I am on the highway and it only happens sometimes. For instance: Tonight I was on my way back from my dads and just crusing on the highway at 65mphish and all of the sudden when I accellerate the car slows down and the boost gauge(stock) needle goes to 11/12psi. If I floor it, it will not accelerate for a few seconds but out of nowhere it will kick in at full boost and drive fine till I let off. I can put it in neutral and floor it(sometimes) and the boost gauge will read 7psi where as normall it would hardly move. But when the boost gauge moves with the gas pedal, i.e. give it some gas, boost gauge moves too while not physically accelerating, the rmps just kind of stand still untill something finally kicks in and it takes off at full boost like nothing is wrong.

What does this sound like? Dieing fuel pump? What should I check first. :dsm:

Ok so I went on a small road trip, decided to test a theory: On the way to my destination(about 30miles, all highway) I did not hesitate to boost. I dont have cruise so I often find myself slowing down and speeding up. And in that process I boosted a bit, not full boost, maybe 7psi or so. And sure enough after about 20minutes of driving it started to do the exact same thing.

So I let the car sit for about an hour(went and ate with the gf) and when I was on the way home, I did not boost it at all. Not one psi, and it never acted up once. So is this a fuel pump/injector problem? It feels like it is to me, but I suck at diagnosing things. I am going to change the fuel filter soon to see if that helps. Any other sugestions?

seems like a boost leak to me. or ur runing to rich or lean

what mods do u have?

No it's not, you have a walbro 155 fuel pump. :p It does sund like a boost leak or maybe your fuel lines are clugged due to that missing fuel pump filter. ;) Did you change the fuel filter?

I suggest that you install a real boost gauge so yu can truble shoot with more accuracy. In the mean time do a boost leak test and see what you find.
