i was wondering if there was a boost limit on a tial 38mm wastegate.... i want to run 20psi on a b16g with the tial 38mm mounted to the o2 hosuing... would the tial 38mm be big enoug/ strong enough??? if not what do you recommend....?

I recomend an internal wastegate if you're going to be running just 20 psi on a 16g setup.
But you can run that as well.

The way a wastegate works is it passes the extra exhaust gas that is not making boost on your turbo. So the more boost you are running, the less exhaust gas is passing through the wastegate. A large wastegate is really only needed to run low boost on a large turbo. I have run over 25psi on a 50 trim with a Tial 35mm. To anwser your question, the 38mm will handle anything a 16g can throw at it.

ty and the reason i am going with a external is because i wanted to eliminate boostcreep all at once for good.... as for the money dont worry bout that i got lots of it ;) :p

How would the TiAL 38mm compare to a similar sized internal gate, for example the 38mm that Bullseye sells with their housings? For a larger turbo such as a holset, would the TiAL allow you to boost lower than the internal with out creep?

when you order the tial you tell them what bar ( psi ) spring you want and that spring will then be the lowest amount of boost you can run.

A tial 38 should be fine for a 16G like stated above.
To answer the Question above a external w/g opens alot further then an internal alowing more flow out of the same size hole. So a tial 38 will be better then an internal gate to prevent boost creep. Don't get me wrong I only hear great thing's about the 38 mm internal's but i personally would go external. the downfall is it's more money. But it doe's look sexy too.
