Boost Leak? Tuning problem maybe please help

Hey guys,
I have been noticing when boosting almost up to max, like when im getting on the highway the car studders while the boost is building up.. Sometimes this its smoothe other times not.. Now maybe if I switch to 1g BOV it would be better? Or maybe its a tuning problem. I am extremely worried, so what do you guys think?

Well first off you need to do a boost leak test. If you have any fix them. Most of the time studdering at wot means a boost leak.

Stuttering can also be a symptom of bad plug wires, plugs, grounding issue, coil pack, improper tune, etc. Take the advice of the last poster and do a boost leak test. You do have a tester, right?

Change your plugs, and gap them correctly. Check your wires, do your routine maitenence. Your BOV won't change anything under WOT, unless your current one is leaking, which would make your car run crappy. You can confirm or deny this with the tester.

How was your car tuned? Supporting mods would help with the diagnosis too!

It's probably a boost leak but if that doesn't work, check your plugs and wires. I had a studder as well with no leaks and it was my plugs/wires.

The tester can be made from parts aquired from your local depot store. And the instructions on making it can be found in the VFAQ, along with how to use it. No forced induction car should be without one.

What are the symptoms of shaft play? My dad is extremlely worried about this? Could this be a possible problem?
