Ever since I installed my boost gauge, whenever the dial is in the Vac section of the gauge, u can hear a ticking noise. I could best describe it as a spark. Its not too loud but if u lean forward you can heard it. When its under 0 and in the Vac area, it sounds like it is sorta sparking. Any ideas on this wierd one?

Are you sure the noise is coming from the gauge itself? If so it would have to be something with the lighting. Twist the black part and pull out the light and drive like you do when you hear the noise to see if that is it.

putting a smaller diameter vacuum connector inline is a known fix for buzzing guages under vacuum.

True. Alot of the time you can hear the resonance of vacuum through the boost gauge line. Its even worse on the oil pressure gauge if you run a mechanical with a copper line. :notgood:
