Yeah I understand electronic boost controllers aren't cheap..And call me old fashioned, but I like the good ole manual boost controllers..Yes they are harder to dial in, but thats also less that could go wrong..Or I guess more that could go wrong if you set it too high..

A friend of mine had one back in the day, which there probably alot better today..But you had to be in neutral to set it..Great for a 5speed, but for an auto if your on the road trying to dial in..You would basically have to pull over and set it..

Well I that's acutally the same with a manual controller as well..

a electronic boost controller is the same as aem tru boost? Or will it be better to get a regular boost controller and gauge.

Im not sure how picky you are but my hallman and autometer boost gauge seems fine and less then half the price.
But if its more convient for you I say go with the aem tru boost. A little harder to use and dial in but fancy nonetheless. Check the dialing in...

I mean once it's set it's not like you'll be getting out the car every time to touch it.

my interest is having a in-cabin boost controller so, i was thinking that the aem truboost will actually be cheaper i found one for like 200 so where online. Instead of paying for a in-cabin bc and boost gauge which might cost more.

Greddy Profec B SpecII is amazing, after installing it, I can't see why anyone would use anything else.

also where can i get a pillar pods for a decent amount of money and good quality. I was thinking about ebay but i am afraid they are universal ones and wont fit.

aem truboost is pretty good but I dont like how it controls boost. I have one on my stealth and an avcr on my gst.
