Electronic Boost Controller or Boost Gauge and MBC?

a friend was telling me that if i got an eletronic boost controller i wouldnt really need to get a boost gauge since i would be able to adjust boost to the exact pressure i would want it at. now i am wondering what would be better? an electronic boost controller or an MBC with a boost gauge?

any ideas on electronic boost controllers? i am currently looking at the Blitz Dual SBC Spec-S, any good? whats better about having the dual solenoid Spec-R?

the blitz unit is good...not many dsm ppl have blitz on there cars..so u will be part of the few....i have the SBC-id and rev metter for it...i think im one of two with it...

NO! A MBC cannot turn down boost, just increase from stock BCS. I'm not going with either the MBC or EBC. I'm going with an external wastegate that you can set with bar springs to determine when the wastegate opens, therefore setting your boost levels, and you can get different pessure(bar) springs too. Then again, that's just with my garret turbo kit, I'm not sure how you can get an external wastegate with the 14b...
YES! You "SHOULD" have a mechanical -30 to +30 boost gauge!
And get the HKS!
