boost creep problem...

If I install a external tial wastegate 38mm on my exhaust manifold, I wont get boost creep from what I understand.

Now my question is... that these external wastegates come with a spring for certain psi... lets say I get the one for 14psi and in the future i want to go more, its possible to change the spring? or can i just leave it as is and run more boost/psi?

I remember asking this question about five or six months ago. It is a good idea to get a 14 psi spring and just running more boost using your mbc or ebc, when you want to up the boost in the future. Hope that helps out

Your boost will now be at 14psi with the MBC set to its minimum boost setting.

Yes just with some supporting mods. Example bov(1g,greddy,hks just something better than the 2g bov), exhaust, rewire your fuel pump, air filter, boost gauge.

I'm assuming your talking about the Tial 38mm wastegate, so your answer is yes without any problems.

A 95gst should be able to handle up to about 15psi. However, at a minimum, the stock BOV should be replaced with a 1g BOV or aftermarket BOV because the stock BOV will leak at these boost levels making your tubo work harder than it needs to.

The 14psi wastegate should be fine at higher boost levels. However, to run at these higher boost levels (20psi+) you'll need several mods including an upgraded fuel pump for starters. Also make sure you are not running at a boost level which is beyond the efficiency range for the turbo.

The Tial externl WG comes with everything you need to install it. The only thing you would need is to weld it to either your exhaust manifold or O2 housing. The best place is off the first runner of the exhaust manifold.

You need to weld the flange onto your exhaust manifold just take it someone who you can trust to weld a flange onto the 1st runner of your exhaust manifold.

Tial 38mm for a T25, have you considered just porting out the turbine housing? Are you even creeping?
