boost control

Ok I just put my new fmic on and I have a evo 3 16g with an ajustable waste gate and I cant get the desired 12 13 lbs of boost I want. With out a mbc I can get 10 lbs of boost wich is ok but I dont get full spool untill like 5000 rpms. With an mbc I get full spool at like 3500 -4000 rpms ish and the boost goes to like 16lbs and the mbs is backed allmost all the way out. I seem to hit fuel cut at like 15lbs and that is not cool. I did a boost leak test and there is a small leak I guess in the intake manifold where it bolts to the motor, but this doesnt really leak untill 14 lbs.

How do I get it to spool at like 3500 rpms and have full spool with like 12lbs of boost.

mine spools at 3700 and higher then 18 psi

Boost leak test, after that we can discuss mbc/hook up and actuator adjustment.

Yes I dont know if you read the top post but I did do a boost leak test and found a leak in the intake manifold but it is very small.

But I would like to know how to ajust my actuator properly, and if I even need a mbc?
