bolt on turbo - finally

Ok, I have a 98 GSX, and its at 90000 miles now. A few weeks ago, I was crusing around and when i jump on the gas, the car would rev fine, but it would start to kick. The boost guage (if the stock one qualifies as one) would bounce a little. I figured a turbo with 90000 miles has had its share of better days? Am i right?

2nd question. I have purchased an evoIII turbo and the good ol' install kit. Using my boost controller I have (Greddy Spec II B), I am curious whether or not after i bolt the new turbo on if I should worry about fuel cut and my stock blow off valve going nuts.

Er..get an aftermarket boost gauge, 1..and 2, get a 1G BOV. What exactly do you mean by the car would 'kick'..??

Edit: You say you have an Autometer boost gauge..why do you even pay attention to the stocker?
