I replaced my leaking clutch master cylinder going by this guide
Clutch Master Cylinder
It was starting to leak inside the car, but still worked fine before starting the project.

After changing the master I filled up the reservoir and bled it going by this guide
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...how-properly-bleed-your-hydraulic-clutch.html

but didn't really complete it.
I did steps 6 through 10 multiple times (until suddenly the pedal became too stiff after about halfway down), the clutch pedal never did come back up by itself while bleeding. I didn't really bleed the slave cylinder because step 16 says to remove the bleed screw and as soon as I even start to do that it completely drains the resevoir, how am I suppose to be doing this step?

As of right now, when I push the clutch pedal, its easy (too easy) until half way down, then gets a lot of resistance really quickly (too stiff, so much I don't want to push it down all the way now, which is why I stopped bleeding), and then it doesn't return back with even resistance like it used to either.

I'm pretty sure whatever is wrong or I'm doing wrong is with the slave cylinder or possibly the master cylinder rod is adjusted wrong. Might be more air in the system but like I said, now that my pedal is so stiff, I'm scared to keep bleeding.
So, how do I complete step 16? Any advice is appreciated!

I just bled my slave cylinder yesterday also. I found that if have a helper hold the clutch pedal when it just starts to dis-engauge the clutch then have them follow the pedal to the floor, you will get the results your looking for.

also shorten your rod twords the firwall....I forgot to mention that earlier. the rod for the master cylinder is too long right now..thats why theres too much resistance

I don't understand what your saying to do here? Do you mean to start bleeding it before the helper actually gets the pedal all the way to the floor? That would make sense, and probably what I will do to keep bleeding.

I will adjust the MC rod using Jack's guide (http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/375324-clutch-adjusting.html) but my biggest question is, should I be able to do step 16 (bleeding slave cylinder) without all the fluid draining out of the master cylinder resevoir?
Am I suppose to have a third person during this step to keep the resevoir full?

no, you will keep having to refill the resivour unless you use something like a vaccuum hose to feed from the slave cylinder nipple to the M.C. resivour.
