Lots of threads on this but not quite what I was looking for. Most threads refer to can you throw it on a 90 or 2g etc., what pins need to be swapped to make that happen and things like that.

I am troubleshooting an issue on my 91 GVR-4 (6 bolt) and have a Black CAS at my disposal. Might have to swap it out during the troubleshooting process.

Guessing it is a direct swap with no need to mess with pins? Is it that much better than a green top?

Conversely, can I put that green top cas on my 1g 7 bolt Laser if the problem turns out not to be the CAS?

Thanks.

Its simply more accurate and less likely to drop the dreaded p300 code on 2g cars running a 6 bolt, either will work and they swap freely between each other, of course you have to reset your timing if you move the one thats in there or swap it.

That was the easiest swap ever. Yep, I browsed through those links.
