I was talking to someone on the irc channel and they said it sucks having a big turbo on a a/t because the car shifts at redline and the turbo would spool at 4k rpms. But wouldnt it actually be better because it would keep the turbo spooled the whole time threw every gear?

Not sure what the point of the person you were talking to was...but...ummm..well when people drive manuals dont they try to shift close to red line? And yes..an auto will hold MOST of the built boost between shifts...

Who says the car will shift at redline all the time. The 2Gs specifically have a feature called "fuzzy logic" which adjusts the shifts firmness and points based on TPS and many other conditions. And I have never seen my boost drop off between shifts (once I got rid of the T-25 that is). If anything, before my external I used to spike and creep pretty bad.

A 50 trim on the street is pretty laggy you have to toe into it alot to make it down shift alot to make the car driveable if you just roll into the throttle its pretty annoying.. If you don't m ind beating on your car a bit then you can stomp on it all the time to make that sucka sing!

My turbo spools at about 4k, I would say that my car is pretty streetable probably not as responsive as i want it too,but still streetable...
