Here is my issues guys,

Im learning the cams vs valve spring fun stuff. I have a head that has supertech single springs on it, came with the motor I purchased. My dumbass went ahead and bought the regrind version of the Kelford 272's with out researching about the cams. My question is can I run this setup as long as I dont rev extremely high or is it just dumb to even try and put this combo together? I need some fast responses. Thanks

You willl not have the pressures on the seat or over the nose to run the kelford cams with a single spring.

Look into a GSC 5041 kit, Kiggley, or BeeMads.

The BC1100 will be close to the ST single

I keep getting back and forth advice on this setup. Few guys said they have ran them with no issues shifting around 8-8500 and then a few guys saying I shouldnt even think about trying them. Talk to a guy on the phone that said he has ran the setup and is fine aslong as its not a full drag car. It will see some street runs and a few track and dyno passes....I dont drive my hard. Im just stuck cause I got a really good deal on these cams and cant really afford to buy a different set of springs and retainers.

What other guys do, I can not speak on.

But there is a reason that Kelford wants certin pressures used on that grind.

Did you read the post in the link?

If you go outside of what is recommened for a cam, and something fails, the only person you can find at fault is yourself.

Yes, I read the post. And yes I know myself would be to blame, which is why I have been reading and researching and asking people that has tried the setup.
