Best way to extend positive battery cables?

Hi,

Looking for a little advice, what's the best way to extend my positive battery cables around 6 inches to my battery?

Get new ones made if they're larger in size.

Or if they're smaller wires, cut a short piece and solder it on to the end of the old cable.

Just another thought, can I just replace the wire that goes from the fuse box to the battery? Can't remember if its a 4ga or 8ga wire?

Yes that can be replaced too i got a longer wire.

Forgot what gauge just a bit bigger i got it from my custom audio guy.
