Hey guys I did a search and found a few similar topics like size and type etc, but couldn't find anything on best placement. (For street and strip setup, 550-600hp)

I've read before, but I can't find it now, that it's best to have both of the fittings on the back of valve cover for drag setups because of heavy acceleration driving the oil to the back of the valve cover, but I don't know if that's the best I never saw it done that way.

The two most popular ways I have seen it done, are..
(Pic1 unpainted valve cover. I didn't draw the stuff on the pic..)
-One out of the left side (breather) and one out of the back side (pcv)..
An
(Pic2 black valve cover)
-Both comming out of the top of the valve cover, One top/front-pointing <<left<< and one top/rear-also pointing <<left<<
..that's if your standing in front of the car, facing it.

What would be the best way? One of these? Or another way? Any info would help before I buy the rest of my fittings.

There is also another option that will allow you to keep the stock PCV valve but make your VC breather take steroids. I cut out of the stock breather and welded in aluminum block which I tapped to accept a -12AN fitting. It keeps the stock baffle in place and I never had to removed it. Ran to a sealed Calan catch can and vacuum from the intake pipe. PCV pulls gases at idle and vacuum at WOT from the intake pipe.

The hydrographic holds up well. It has not faded or peeled with heat cycles and does not show scratches. It has a high temp clear over it which helps protect it but I set stuff on it often.

I have been able to test this setup hard as I am waiting for the roads to clear up (MN salt). There is a thread on here where I got the idea, let me find it quick.

You dont happen to have more infobon how you did this do you? Im tryingnto find this cap vent but not having any luck and this kinda liiks like a better design as id rather not remove the baffles
 
On to another question that I have..

Regarding the baffles on the underside of the cover. I'm assuming it's best to keep them right?

Although it's not the best thing, I'm not using Weld-in fittings, I'm using bulkhead breather fittings (kind of a sealed nut and bolt type) so I would have to go through the baffles on either side regardless so I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience in this method? Or will it fill the can up super quickly because of no restriction to the hose...

I know most people reading this are going to say "just use weld in fittings" and although I appreciate your input.. Thats not really the answer I'm looking for LOL.
