420A Best Performance Oil For Winter?

Modified 420a. I currently run Royal Purple 10w-30

Gonna do a quick oil change before winter. What's the best oil I can run? I want something super protective for my engine, I might drive the hell out of it this winter.

I'm gonna change it again in a few months when the weather gets warm again. So I just need a solution to last through the winter. Thoughts?

My Chilton has a temp range to specific oil weight you should use. I believe unless you're living in northern Canada 10w30 is the recommended. I don't have the manual with me at school I can check when I get home.

It also depends on what modifications you have (if you have any to the oil system and what they are/purpose is of the mod) and built engine and all that. Havent researched too much on what oil to use for specific mods or applications of the use of the car.
