I have a set of ss lines not gonna name the brand had 1 fail replaced it had the other 3 fail including the new one. What are the best ss lines for a high HP drag setup ? Thanks for the help

They are techna fit lines. First the end pulled out of the caliper when pulling the axles. I figured I would have to pay for a new set. I messaged them they replaced it. Awesome was super happy . Got it replaced no problems.
I got a line locker and I don't know if this caused them to fail or not I used the line lock. We got it working for the track. the next day we try it again. Nothing quit working. So we start to bleed the brakes. Look under the car the front line is leaking. So we replace it with a stock and bleed again still breaks are messed up. We looked and both front and the rear passenger line were all leaking.
I messaged them again explained everything and they said they sent out another set and I should have it already . I checked never got them and messaged back and they said we sent one just send it back we sent a whole new set. Time goes by I message them again and she says parts were on back order and it will ship today. I'm a bit frustrated that its been weeks without getting the lines. They have been great about replacing lines for free, but I don't want to deal with them failing again .

Yeah, they may be taking the approach of replace as often as needed until the driver is killed.

+1 on Goodridge

Yea i love that they have taken care of me as far as warranty goes, but I told her the power and mph of the car. I can't afford a brake failure on a 140+ mph pass. I orginally ordered goodridge lines ma was out and sent me the techna-fit. I've had them for awhile. I told her I needed the heaviest duty lines they had. Guess I'll see if that's what I got or not.

Check out Agency power they make a nice kit! I personal have not used them! Note they are price per pair not a set of four!

Agency Power 4pc Brake Line Kit Mitsubishi Eclipse 89-94 (1g DSM) - Modern Automotive Performance

What makes these that much nicer than the next ? My only problem with agency power is i feel like your paying mainly for the name. I wish you ran them so i could justify spending that much money.

I've used Goodrich, Earls and Technafit. Currently have a set of earls on my talon and technafit on my Ridgeline. No complaints or problems with either.

I did break one of the technafit lines when I was trying to remove a caliper - totally my fault and they sent me a new one within 24 hours.

Friendly reminder to everyone swapping out lines - never throw your stockers away. If something happens to your stainless lines during install or during maintenance, you'll be glad you have backups.

I build brake lines at my shop. We use the Brakequip system, and the fittings are far beefier than any of the other systems Ive seen out there. As far as leaks go, it is mandatory to hydro- test brake lines to 3000psi and verify there are no leaks before shipping them out. Are the fittings breaking off in the hoses? They are only -02 fittings within the hose, and if they are under any tension, the slightest impact will cause them to snap off- I have seen this many times. Here is a pic of a Brakequip fitting crimped on a hose. Notice the way the ferrule is part of the fitting itself and that there is a metal "backup" sleeve between the ferrule and hose- this increases the strength of the fittings against tension and impacts tremendously. Most of the other systems out there consist of two piece fittings- fitting and ferrule are seperate. Works fine as long as youre extremely careful during installation and removal, but most arent. Just to be clear, I am not trying to sell anyone anything.
