A while back when i was n/a , i went to the local track, bradenton. I lined up revved to 5500 with lowered tire pressure, spec stage 2 clutch and corbins clutch restricotr removal mod, i dumped got a good ass 60 ft , by second gear i had no clutch pedal, i coasted to the line and pulled over. I pop the hood and noticed the front motor mount mounts(where it mounts on the bellhousing) completely broke off and in turn snapped my slave cylinder off and broke my clutch hard line. Upon further inspection at home there was hairline cracks throughout the bell housing and a large crack on the bottom, i forgot to mention my stiffened motormounts. I talked to several neon guys and thy all had the same bellhousing problem, was there a recall or was it just the wrong combination of mods/ tire pressure and stickyness of the track, i was wonderin if this has happened to any one else?? thanks!
