2G Bellhousing Bolts

I'm putting the transmission back but I forgot where the bolts goes on to the bellhousing to the engine block. The bolts are in different sizes so I don't want to put it in the wrong Place. This is the bolts that came out from the bellhousing and the engine block. I just need to know where the bolts go on to the bellhousing and the engine block

The best way to do this, would just be to insert them into each hole to see if they are too long, or not long enough (or the proper length).

In your Pic of 5 bolts: Left 2 go in the bottom 2 red circles from the Block side, Middle 2 go in the top 2 holes from the transmission side. Not sure on the right bolt I dont remember that one.

Thats for a turbo model. We have non turbos. Bolts are different.

I would still say my suggestion would be sufficient based upon this being for a 420a model.

Lol that would work. Oddly he should have 2 left bolts and 2 middle bolts not the 1 and 3 he has. It doesn't really matter on those really(except the pointed one, that won't work on top) because they are the same thread and size.

@dk7868 specifically, you posted this question in a thread that's asking about bellhousing bolts for a 420A (n/t) 2g. Since you've got a 4G63 this is what yours will look like, if you have a 6-bolt bottom end then the bolt @ 9 o'clock isn't used.

Going forward, one trick that may help keep things more organized when using multiple bolts to attach something is to number each bolt in a clock-wise fashion. Take a sharpie of grease/paint pen to number each head as you remove them. Then all you have to remember is where to start (as close to the 12-1 o'clock position as possible).
