I finally saved up enough to get my dogbox. I plan on having raif at rrt assemble the transmission for me. What else should I consider when buying the dogbox? I decided on running the diff over the spool setup. ppg also sells a billet diff body and steel shift forks. What should I consider or need rather?

Well, talk to Raif, upgrading the center diff cross shaft and machining the housing to take double spider thrust washers and the center diff cover for torrington bearing are strong recommendations.

I'd still recommend the Boostin performance 300m output shaft to be installed in the transmission and go with a Quaife front diff. Are you doing the 5th gear option as well?

I have the cross shafts in stock, the 300m output shafts in stock as well.

Ive been having a hard time deciding what to do, im really considering your stage 5 transmission and upgrading my transfer case. The ppg dogbox the way I want it is going to end up costing me close to 10k, That is low mile 2g money, half of an evo.... I dont know what the hell to do

Well, you gotta pay to play and the toys you want are not cheap. The PPG has more durable gears and shafts. If you are intending on going 9's, 8's, 7's that costs an astronomical amount of money, especially when you start breaking components regularly.

Even though 10 k is close to buying a evo you'd still have to upgrade the trans LOL

I would ask yourself if you really value going fast enough to put a 10k transmission setup in the car. Like other said, talk to the guy building the dogbox :)
