I'd get an aftermarket flywheel if you plan on big power.

The cheapest route would be going with a OE style pressure plate and a 6 puck spec or Comp clutch disk. Get the versions with a sprung center.

bout how much do you think that would run me? i couldnt reuse my current plate could i? i wanna try and keep it as cheap as i can for now.. i'm keepin an eye out for a flywheel but i dont plan on it for right now.. in a few months i'll have a few grand or more to play with but right now i have to collect cans in my house for gas money :notgood:

If you can find OE...do it!

I wouldn't re-use the pressure plate if you want upgrade your clutch.

An ACT2100 would be a good set up for you. You can find one for 200$ if you search.
:)

i've heard good and bad things about act clutch's but i've been wanting to try em.. so would i need to get a kit or can i get away with getting just the disk and buyin a new presure plate? (btw what is OE?) sorry if it's a stupid question, i'm not much into abbreviations and i've only had my dsm for about a month so if it's dsm specific i dont know it yet :shhh:

*edit* never mind, i realized what OE meant as soon as i woke up :| thanks for the tips guys
