I put a new 6 puck sprung clutch disk, along with new stock pressure plate, and new T/O bearing, new clutch fork 6 months ago, but somethings causing the clutch to not disengage properly (I assume its the pressure plate) so I've decided to change the 6 puck to an ACT 2100 that I found, because well, the puck is not very nice for a daily driver.

When the puck was put in, I had the stock flywheel machined/stepped to stock specs, so I am wondering what I'm supposed to do with the flywheel now, with this used ACT 2100 (it has 8000 miles on it)?

The car was only driven about 5000 miles since the last time the flywheel was stepped, does it always need to be done when changing a clutch? Cause I think I had it stepped to between those specs you said.

thanks

Must be stepped to the clutch mfg's specs. Otherwise you will run into disengagement problems later on as the clutch disc wears. Also, don't mix and match clutch discs from various vendors. If you use ACT pressure plate, use ACT disc.
