My clutch doesn't engage until I step all the way down. Like less than 1" from the floor mat. It makes fast gear shifting grind, mostly when I'm shifting to 3rd gear. I'm thinking of getting a new clutch but the ACT 2100's are like $300+ everywhere. Is there any other clutches that are just as good but don't cost as much? I don't have that much money to blow on a clutch and have it installed.

Make sure you need a clutch first. Are you sure you aren't just low on fluid, have you tried bleeding it, and lastly have you tried adjusting the clutch pedal rod? I would try those first, but if you're sure you need a clutch, you can't go wrong with an ACT, and most of the other clutches for our cars are pretty much the same price.

Its a 2 man job...have someone inside pumping and holding the clutch and then someone under the car at the Slave cylinder and have the nipple hookup to a rubber hose and have the other end in a cup with brake/clutch fluid there botht the same...have him pump and then hold loosen the bleeder nipple and then you will see it come out into the cup..if you seen air then theres your culprit..do this process until its hard to pump the clutch...
