Everyone puts it in the trunk, there are so many threads on this aswell

I put mine where the stock side mount intercooler was. Works great, except for when the car needs a jump. But then I just hook to the power wire in the main fuse box and any ground I can find at the time.

that sounds like a horrible spot, I would put mine on my subframe before going putting it there.

Why? It's gets it out of the engine compartment away from the heat, keeps the wires nice and short, and keeps the weight to the front of the car to better help weight transfer, and keeps it out of the passenger compartment. Only downside would be if getting in a wreck, which I would rather have it out there and inside the car with me. ;)

Most people just put it in the trunk like myself LOL I like the added weight to the back of the car.
