Batmo wheel vs fresh air vent hose The hose won

I got a short enjoyment out of my new batmo wheel on my he351vgt. The picture say it all. I messed up forgot to tie the fresh air vent hose back out the way and thats the end of the new wheel.

It does, but i found BW300 series turbos for 700 bucks thats new from area diesel with shipping 722 at my door. I think im going that way most likely a 366. So its not ill that bad i guess.

That's what I did. Why pay double for someone else to put there name on it and not sure what your actually getting.

x2... Was it a fitting or the hose itself? What intake you running?

just the hose , The fresh air vent that hooks to the turbo intake. I dont run an intake cause i cant get one to fit. Vgt acculator is to close to the inlet. I had a screen on it but i took it off when i put the new wheel in and forgot to put it back on.

Oh wow. If i couldnt fit an Intake i would have least have put a filter on it.

Damn, that does suck.

I had a similar thing happen to me but it was the O2 sensor wiring and a 14b turbo. I was driving with no hood (engine break-in) and saw sparks shooting up from near the turbo. It sucked but it wasn't nearly as costly as losing a batmowheel.

I got in a yank and didn't put the screen back on.


99gst_racer- That would be something to see. Thats a oh Sh#t moment there.
