i'm installing an Autometer boost gauge, but it didn't come with nearly enough vaccum hose to run it through the firewall and to the "P" line on the TB. What size vaccum line is used on boost gauges and is there any way to hook up two ends of vaccum hoses and still get an accurate reading? Thanks for the help

4 or 6 mm will work fine. Connecting two hoses with a straight fitting will work the same as long as it's not leaking. The best thing to use are the thick wall design silicon hoses, they will not pinch.

yeah I was pretty pissed at how cheap and thin the vaccum hose was that came wih the boost gauge. I guess I'll get the thick walled hose and take that route, thans for the info :thumb:
