2G Basic performance upgrades?

I have a 95 eclipse GST. I've done a few minor things to it, but I'm wanting more. I've been searching on the forum for hours and most of the stuff I find is for 1g's or really expensive! I'm just looking for any ideas on how to get a little perfance boost while trying to keep the cost down for now. Anything will help! Thank you guys!

You should give specifics on what has been done to the car to get better feed back. Hopefully in your research you found the maintenance section. That should always be the first checklist, but does take some money. Go to Tech/Upgrade paths/DSM maintenance Guide. But for low budget mods go to Tech/Upgrade paths/2G upgrade paths/Free mods. Thank you! Performance parts as of Now, It has an FMIC with 2.5" pipes, greddy type S BOV, innovative MTX-L wideband and gauge, cat delete, this week I'm putting in the GM 3" MAF.

Also, when I get to the upgrade paths, I can't find the "free mods"

What do you consider expensive? You have to pay to play.
What have you come up with so far on your list of go fast stuff?
Boost controller?
boost gauge?
blow off valve?
some form of engine management?
Fuel improvements?
They all go hand in hand.

Performance mods for both are very similar when it comes to 1g/2g. I'm not sure what you looked up but what 91gsx posted is a good start.

Details on what you have done so far would be helpful as well.

I wouldn't bother with a GM MAF.
Get ECMLink and switch to speed density. It's more money but so much more worth it.

FREE MODS.....go to Tech/upgrade paths/, now under 2g DSM's, go to "Basic HP Upgrades". Stage O:Free Mods will be listed if you scroll down a fuzz. The wideband with gauge is great, but you definitely will need an aftermarket boost gauge too, not to look cool, but because the factory gauge is unreliable, and inaccurate. Manual boost controller is needed now also. Your wideband will be essential when you up boost and/or upgrade fuel injectors. EcmLink with speed density (or a more expensive stand-alone like aem) is the best option for tuning, and should be installed before bigger turbos or fuel injectors.

Okay, thank you guys! I would love to get ECMLink but it's a little pricey at the moment. The reason I'm doing the GM MAF is because my MAF is bad. So I'm really in need of one and it's quite a bit cheaper than ECMLink and SD. But I will get it fairly soon!

My buddy has a 1g and he took the 3 vacuum lines off of the top of the throttle body, the ones that are for emissions he said. Is the 2g like the 1g in the sense that I should get rid I those?

yes very right you are! gm maf's need a translator to be paired with it as well.

I know it needs the translator by I was told it didn't new to be tuned with Link to work?
