If you are connecting an aftermarket oil pressure sending unit for an oil pressure gauge, do NOT mount it directly to the filter housing. Remote mount it somewhere, as the vibrations from the engine WILL kill that sending unit within a few days (a week if you are lucky).
 
^Strange. With BS delete and poly mounts mine has been fine for over 6 months.

:applause: I didn't catch that one! LOL.

OP- Are you reffering to the hole where you check the BS shaft when timing the engine? If so, that will never see oil pressure.
