Long Story Short. Going to have to use my old block as the new block is no use. Anyway, I'm sending my old block in to get tanked and bored etc etc. I have the BSEK on my new block and wanted to know if I can just pull the bearings out and re-install them on my old block when I get it back. OR can I buy just the bearings somewhere, with out having to buy another whole BSEK.

Thanks

if you never started the motor and don't ruin them taking them out i would swap them over if i were you.

Nope, engine hasn't even finished being built. So I wondered about that. Will take them out and hope I don't screw them up.

You can re-use the bearings just fine, as long as you dont damage them when taking them out..

Ive always been able to re-use stock bearings and just turn them to plug the oil hole when deleting the balance shafts..

Mitsu Part #
Rear Balance Shaft Bearing - MD040597
Front Balance Shaft Bearing - MD103722

Actually you don't need the rear one. That feeds through the rear balance shaft. BSEK eliminates that one from the system.

You can get the indivindual bearings at JNZtuning or STM.

Thanks guys. I will spend the money and get some brand new ones at that price. Saves me the hassle of marring them and then having to get the new ones anyway.:thumb:
