So I have searched the forums but running out of ideas on how to search for this specific issue or if it has even been talked about.

The other morning on my way home from work I was down shifting to stop and it felt like my clutch pedal stuck on the floor but it has stopped maybe 2 inches from it. Scared i just turned into a parking lot an turned off the car, I got the pedal to pop back up an all seemed good so I got back on my way. Shortly after it did it again but I noticed the clutch was still working perfectly but it was 2 inches off the floor an the release was instant.

I have only had time to check the fluid and it was topped off. I have never seen a clutch pedal do this before, I was hoping someone would have an idea of what could have happened to make trouble shooting this issue a little easier. Needless to say the car is parked until my next day off later this week.

Thanks in advance if anyone might have any ideas.

I just redid the clutch master cylinder in mine a few weeks ago and without it hooked up the pedal will get stuck on the floor every-time. There is a spring attached to the clutch mechanism that once the arm goes so far will flip around and cause it to get stuck. Only once I blead the new clutch master cylinder did the pedal return the way it usually does. So maybe you have a small leak or the slave cylinder is out of adjustment.

I would first try bleeding to make sure there is no air then follow the instructions in the video.

Had some time to look at it this evening and found the fluid low and a very very small leak from the master into the cab of the car , there isnt alot of fluid in the cab but the pedal arm is slightly coated so im pretty sure my issue is my master no holding pressure.
