Bad to leave logger plugged in??

I'm just wondering if it is bad to leave my logger cable plugged in when I don't have the Palm hooked to it. If so I want to get an ALDL plug to make hooking and unhooking it easier.

I leave my logger cable plugged in all the time. You just need to make sure that if you have ABS you turn the logger off before you shut the car down. If you don't, sometime when you start the car the next time the ABS light stays on.

What causes the light to stay on? Their muct be a reason for it.

i have no ABS and i leave my logger plugged in all the time and haven't had any problems with it...

The logger generally disables the abs.

i leave my cable in all the time, no problems. i left my pda (m105) in the car a couple of times , and the heat screwed up the touch screen alittle. if you live in hot climate, dont leave the palm in the car.
