EBAY logger good or bad?

I have one. Comes with MMCD software and all the cables you'll need. I havn't any problems with it so far. I bought it mainly to figure out and fix all my CEL problems, so far it's helped me out alot.

I borrowed this same cable from a friend when my TMO cable crapped out. It was a bit diffcult to hookup the first time and the PC plug connector was not "strain relieved" so IMO was bound to come apart if constantly plugged/unplugged.

I ended up getting THIS which is not much more $ but is much better built (thick cable and plug is strain relieved), has a plug for the Diagnostic Port instad of the individual wires and also comes with all the software you need.

i went ahead and bought the logger, seems to me like too good of a deal to pass up. ill post a review of it later when i receive it. also does the logger come with a battery recharger?

Nope. It runs off of 2 AAA batteries. The package comes with 2 to get started. I'd recommend buying some rechargables or a cradle for it. It likes to eat batteries, especially if use use the backlight alot.

duh.. sorry. I saw the cable and didn't see that this was for a complete package with PDA.
Sounds good for the price, though still don't like the quality of this guys cables.

mine works great.came with palm 7x,mmcd,tunerstein,and the cable.i also have the battery eating problem though.it looks so pretty at night.

okay i just got my 70 dollar logger from ebay and i have to say im not very impressed. first off i think its a palm IIIc and i can barley see the screen clearly because its not bright enough. second off what is this pod thing that looks like it charges it or something??? is this screen going to be a big problem for tuning because i cant see the screen??

You're right, it is a palm III. I don't have any trouble seeing mine. You can adjust the contrast on it. You can darken it up or make it lighter. What pod thing are you talking about ? The screen shouldn't be a problem if you adjust the contrast to your liking.

i cant really explain what it looks like besides a battery recharger??its specifically made for the palm tho because it sits right up on it and has a little space for the plug in at the bottom of it. thanks for the reply man

I'm still confused. If the palm sits in it and holds it upright ,that's a cradle. Or, maybe you're referring to the hotsync cable. It resembles a battery charger. I'm lost now.
