Hey guys I'm not really sure how this is supposed to look, but i think something is wrong here. I've been having some problems with passing the new NY inspection, some of the monitors in the car are registering as "not ready" and I figured the ECU might have something to do with it. I ordered an EPROM anyway because I plan on running DSM Link in the future. Like I said I'm not really sure how it's supposed to look, but I took some pics. I feel like the spots that are yellow shouldn't be. Let me know if anything looks off. Sorry about the pics I used a cell phone cause thats all I had with me.

Camera phone.

Thanks for the informative input, but you can still see the yellow very easily and that is what I'm talking about.

There's nothing wrong with the yellowing around those transistors. I can't tell exactly what it's from in those pictures but it's not a problem.

The problem with setting the readyness monitors seems to a a software problem in Mitsubishi OBDII ECU's.

yeah you have to get the ecu prepped and cleared at Mitsu then drive straight over to the smog place and make sure not to turn the car off, or youll have to go back to mitsu. few of my buddies had to do that, then again, few of them didnt.

So this is a common thing? Do you think that putting the EPROM in might help?
