Just don't loose any original pieces like the little cap on top and put it all on the replacement pump. New pumps come with new strainers so I don't know if you can get one from a parts store or not. If you have to reuse yours just clean it real good and make sure it holds on tight. I think it uses little metal spikes on the attachment point to hold them on so you can make sure they are sticking out before you push it on the bottom. Good luck!

I'm getting a used stock fp from '90 awd part-out for 20 bux. I've seen brand new strainers on ebay for $8 but they're for walbro's. Don't know if they'll work on stock pumps or if new strainers are available for stockers. Still wondering about getting new o-ring + other hardware and where to get them -or- should i not worry about it and reuse old pieces.

Update:

Fuel pump was ok which I should've known early on by doing simple test at FP test connector underhood and seeing if runs. Anyhow found a faulty ground wire with FP rewire and solved the problem. Also cleaned up the connections to relay after testing it. Might eventually run the ground wire and relay into cabin to avoid corrosion.
