The other night while driving on the e-way all of sudden my rpm's started to rise but the car was not picking up speed. Luckily I was close enough to one of those quick refill gas stations and managed to pull the car in there. Popped the hood and smelt like burn clutch, I think I saw smoke to. Long story short the car would not go into gear so I had to get it towed home.
When I try to go into gear (1-5, R) the car does not move it just sits there while the rpm's go up. Does this indicate a bad\slipping clutch?
I'm guessing the clutch has the same mileage as the car since I bought it stock (80K)
I checked for leaks, pedal pressure, rod adjustment but everything seems normal.
